Meet Your Creativity Guide


Sarah Bowden is an expressive and experimental artist born and raised sandwiched between sea and rolling hills.


After a series of traumatic events starting with her mum passing and ending with leaving her 18 year career as a teacher, she is now quite the Creative Goddess, living in a small town near Reading, UK, with her loved ones.


Art quite literally came and picked up her broken pieces and stuck her back together with glitter, gold, colour and creativity.


Her vibrant artwork is enchanting, whimsical and semi-abstract in style as she loves to capture the awe and wonder we experience as children.


She believes the world needs more play and less perfection.


To date, Sarah has had her work displayed at The Whitfield Gallery near Dover, UK as part of their winter exhibition 2022-23. And she was commissioned to create 6 illustrations and to design the book cover for a novel, The Shaman by Joseph Carrabis, which was released 30th September 2023.

In case you're wondering...

When does the course start?

When you purchase this course, you will receive an email with a link to enrol in the course and all the videos will be on your dashboard.

What resources will I need?

You will need lining paper, magazine or old book to create your journal. I will show you in a video that will be available as soon as you enrol.


You will need white gesso, modellign paste, glue, collage papers, paints (acrylics are best), oil pastels or wax crayon and tissue paper. If you have anything else, this will be the chance to bring it to the party and try them out and see what happens.

How much time should I put aside for this course?

There will be 5 short videos per week of varying times - no longer than 15 mins. How long you spend working from the video is up to you. You can return to each video as many times as you like. The more you do, the bigger the transformation, but you could benefit from as little as 10 - 15 mins. The course is designed for you to work around a busy schedule.

What if I get stuck or fall behind?

All lessons are pre recorded and so you can choose to do them in your own way and in your own time. I will add a community space for all who enrol so we can connect and share if you feel called to do so. I will or other members will be able to answer any questions there.
